History Repeats Poem by Ima Ryma

A mad man started World War II,
Invading counties on a whim.
To appease, the world did not do
Too much for too long to stop him.
In twenty twenty two the world
Again must deal with a mad man,
Who with his armies has unfurled
A conquer neighbor master plan.
China does watch this Russian's scheme,
And ponders well whether or not
To pursue its own Taiwan dream.
The world will grumble, but so what?

Will the attack on Ukraine be
The beginning of World War III?
