Sa kamay ng isang lider
Isang lider na mahigpit
At sadyang masakit magsalita
Ngunit sobrang bait
May ginintuang puso
Lalo na sa mahihirap
Iniisip ang bayan
Bago ang kanyang sarili
Handang mamatay para sa bayan
Isang bayang namatay at pinatay
Ng mga ganid sa kapanyarihan
Isang lider na diktador daw
Sabi ng mga kalaban
Na nais siyang pabagsakin!

Papayag ka bang bumalik sa dati?
Na ang mga mahihirap
Ay lalo pang mas naghihirap?
Na ang droga at kurapsyon
Ay muling maumbalik at lumala?
Na mamuhay ka sa alanganin
At lalo na sa pag-aalala?
Pagkat ang mahal mo sa buhay
O kaya ikaw ay parating nanganganip
Nanganganib dahil ikaw ay
Sa lipunang napakadelikado
Gugustuhin ko na lang mamatay
Kung ang Pilipinas maging ganito!

Kaya gagawin ko ang dapat at tama
Nang na ito maulit
Hinding hindi na ako papayag
Na muling maghari ang mga ganid
Na mahilig magkunwari at madrama
Lalo na pagkaharap ang media
Na mahilig sa mga pangakong napapako
Ayokong mamuhay sa magulong lugar
Sa bayang pinamumugaran ng mataas at malakas
Sa bayang nababayaran ang katahimikan
Hindi lang dilaw ang kulay ng watawat
Kundi pula, asul at puti.

Hindi na nila ako magpapauto sa pagkat ngayon
Ay namulat na ako sa lipunan
Dalang dala na sa mga hirap na dinanas
Hindi habang buhay ay maghihirap ako
Hindi habang buhay ganito ang bayan ko
Kaya hindi ako papayag bumalik sa dati
Ipinapangako ko!

In the hands of a leader
A leader who is strict
And painful to speak
But a very kind leader
With a golden heart
Especially for the poor
He thinks of his countrymen
Before himself
And he's ready to die for his country
That great country that died and killed
By those hungry for powers
He's a leader dictator
Says by the opponents
Who always oust at him!

Do you want living in the old dark days again?
That our countrymen living in poverty
Will suffer much all of their lives?
That drugs and corruption
Return, this time its so much chronic?
Do you want to live in uncertainty?
And always full of worries?
Because your love ones
Or even you is always at risk?
At risk because you are
In a dangerous environment
I just want to die
If these happen again!

So I will do what's right and appropriate
I will never allow
The rascals to reign again
Who loves to pretend and make a scene
Especially in front of a media
Who loves a broken promises
I do not want to live in a chaotic place
In the country of the highest and the strongest
In the country being silent is getting paid
The color of our flag is not just yellow
But red, blue and white.

They're not gonna fool me again
For I'm totally wake in this society
Those hard times wields me well
It's not forever I will live suffering
It's not forever my country will always like this
So I won't allow this to happen again
Promise!
