Hide Your Beloved From The World Poem by Sahil SharifdinEnglish

Hide Your Beloved From The World

Rating: 5.0

Like the moth rushes to the candle;
Like the sun chases the moon;
Walk to the garden of your beloved,
Like a singing bee at noon.

Your heaven is yourbeloved's hut.
Your universe is yourbeloved's room.
You feel in your beloved's arms
Like a fetusin mother's womb.

The bond of souls is complicated,
Which no head can understand.
Soulmates are never welcome
In any nation, community or land.

Dance where nobody can see you.
Smile secretly under the veil.
Never ever tell any third person
Any secretof your love tale.

An advertised love becomes a curse.
It brings painanddishonour.
A secret love grows stronger.
A secret love lasts longer.

Love is a beautiful gift of God
Like hunger, joy andsleep.
Love is a game for silent tigers.
Love is not for bleating sheep.

Jump into your beloved's boat.
Float down the life's stream.
Love is what all eyes look for.
Love is the life's biggest dream.

Beloved's look increases heartbeat.
Beloved's touch brings shine on face.
All the ailments of this world
Are cured with a warm embrace.

Hide your beloved from the world.
Hide himfrom every ear and eye.
Among relatives may bean enemy.
Among friends may be a spy.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Love is not to show off. Love is to experience, relish and enjoy. Love advertised gives seldom joy. Love must remain hidden from the public eye. People will not try to ruin our love Until theyknow about our love. Live a great love life and tell no one.

Thanks, dear poet, for telling us many a secret of love life. The picture too is so nice! 'Jump into your beloved's boat. Float down the life's stream. Love is what all eyes look for. Love is the life's biggest dream' - loved this beautiful stanza the most! 'Among friends may be a spy' - yes, we often realize this after the damage has been done.
