Hidden Strength

I sat alone and wondered why,
Why it is that I always did cry,
I never seemed to lash about,
Never seemed to scream and shout,
I trained myself to not shed tears,
Trained myself to not acknowledge my fears,
In the darkness it feels like an emotional dream,
It lays everywhere yet it remains unseen
