Heroine Poem by Delphinium Bloom

Heroine

She was a heroine years ago
until she met the heroin glow
swept into the dark all alone
within her it grew
she was unknown.

Ropes were tight she couldn't escape
hidden behind the deadly drape
'devil changed angel'
that's how she defined
her newfound friend.

At last it came to an end
it was her, not her friend
she slew herself with the invisible knives
her breaths failed, she was trapped
braided inside the devil life.
