Our friendship was grown a lifetime
Neither Time Nor distance could sever
On the bonds we have built
we will remain friends forever
You understand better than any
without a single word even spoken
No doubt you would run a guy down
if you saw my heart was broken
Throughout the aging
and so many years
You were there for the laughter
and quite a few beers
Remember all the good times
concerts, bars, road trips too
We always found our way back
No matter what in life we do
Someday we may forget yesterday
when our youth is far behind
we will have each others memories
knowing we had all the fun we could find
so here's to you, my best friend
May our friendship never dull or fade
thank you for being part of my story
