Here We Are



Here we are,
anticipating
when the sun
shall drown
ashore.

For our spirits
to part
the sea
and soar
Again.

Here we are,
waiting
for the sky to
vanish into the
earth.

For our time
to come
and find
us in defiant
slumber.
