Her Name Poem by Brian Arguello

Her Name

When her name is muttered
I twitch
I shutter
When she passes by
I melt like butter
I continue walking
Dazed and flustered

When I see her face
In such a random place
My heart begins to race
My heart begins to pound
I reach for a word
But none are found
I open my mouth
But not a word
Nor a sound

My stomach twirls
And my mind swirls
At the mere thought of this girl

Thoughts begin to rush
Then my mind turns to mush
I guess this is what they call a crush
