Her eyes are like something out of a movie
Oh, how they captivate and move me
Deep blue pools of a silent abyss..
I can imagine our eyelashes intertwining
As we fall into this..
Fumbling, clumsily
Trying to make our ways out of the dark
But we falter, with lips
Locked in a tempestuous kiss
As fire meets flame
And sets our forest-hearts a-blaze
Tonight, so bright..
I feel the flames lick and scorch my face
But then your eyes bring me back,
Once more..
To calm peaceful shores,
Where we might engage in
Movements so beautiful and slow..
Your eyes are the ocean,
And I drown in them so..
