Hello Suzy Poem by Suzanna Christina Chevalier

Hello Suzy

Hello Suzae
though they never knew you at all,
You told your children stories while toddlers at Barnes & Noble crawled.
You walked out on to the Improv stage
Hemp whispered into your brain
Hemp named you with a Lady named Suzae
and the comics would never be the same.
They would start doing more improvisation
like you in this comedy game.
And it seems you lived your life
Like a runaway child in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When your mom locked you from the house within.
Being the middle child was tough
The toughest role you ever played
But Jesus saved you and created a new creation
You ask the Holy Spirit every day.
I would of like to have known you
But you were far and away
Your light now burns more brightly
With the Holy Spirit aflame.
Hello Suzae
You have more than you expected,
You found the true Jesus Christ
who was calling you but the devil
lead you astray-
Jezebel spoke up and said
false hope I did lead
to make her not find Jesus but I did not succeed.
And it seems you lived your life
Like a person with no strings
With no parachute to catch you
When the Rum Shack stage fell in.
Hello Suzae
From the old man Jim Atkins in the 3rd row
Thank you for the memories
At Ray's, South Shores and Rumshack comedy show.
And I would have liked to have known you…
But you were far and away
Holy Spirit burns brightly
for you now have Jesus and He is here to stay.
