Heavens Angel Poem by Kelsey Decker

Heavens Angel

Death took an angel
Quiet in the night
Silent as the sea
Her spirit now departed
To heaven above

Her words are silent
As the night, so quiet
You can hardly hear her speak
For now she is in our hearts
If she could, she'd say smile

Her memories forever with us
Edged in our hearts
In boxes in front of us
Pictures of her remain
For each picture is worth 1000 tears

Gone now to heaven
To be with our lord
There she will be waiting
For everyone she ever loved

Though she is gone, she is not forgotten
She was an angel so pure so loved
Her heart was of gold
No one could ever forget
For she alone was truly amazing

Each smile that came
Joy was brought to those around
Every member of our family
Will forever remember her
As the one who was gold.
