I'm putting flowers on my empty grave
I'm wondering when will it be my turn
Got me thinking what hell has for me
Got me feeling scared, I don't want to be burnt

And still heaven isn't for me

I got a mind full of demons going wild
Please God shine me your light, I'm going blind
This isn't the life for me, I need to change
Yet I find it hard to leave them all behind

And still heaven isn't for me

I feel powerless against my own will
My demons are pulling me down, I'm falling to the floor
I put my hands up and pray so hard
I'm begging God to let me in through heaven's door

And still heaven isn't for me

I'm seeing death around the corner
Got me living in fear, counting my every breath
I think I hear the angels calling my name
And my every step is towards embracing an early death

And still heaven isn't for me
