'Heaven Is A Prayer Away' Poem by Barbara Blevins

'Heaven Is A Prayer Away'

All lost souls hear what I say,
This might be your last day.
Please call on the Lord,
Let Heaven be your reward.
The Lords day is at hand,
Come with me to the promised land.
God has loved you oh so true,
He gave his only son Jesus to die for you.
Jesus was born and laid in a manger,
He was refused like a worthless stranger.
While he tried to warn you of the end,
He was crucified for you 'his friend'.
Now I beg you take the first step and pray,
He will guide you the rest of the way.
Let go of all this world below,
Walk in his light and glow.
He's the love you've never known,
Pray to him now let it be shown.
He will protect you from all evil 'sin',
Lost souls come out of 'satan's din'.
