Heaven Poem by Anurag Talukdar

Heaven

I always assumed,
Heaven is a concept,
In which only fools believed.
But then I met you,
Some years back,
Under circumstances,
Quite unusual.
Now heaven is not a place,
But the moments,
I hear you speak,
'Cause we have not met,
For quite some time now.
My mind says you are indifferent to me,
Thinking - 'just another specimen uttering gibberish'.
But my heart firmly believes,
In your life there is a space for me.
Infact just a little will do,
While I linger on,
Hearing your voice,
Sprinkling love across the horizon,
Eternally delighting my soul,
With your mere company.
