Heat Poem by Ashvini Swamy

Heat

Of salt, sweat and the sea,
Thirsty leaves rustle like meandering waves
Summer unrelenting
Memories of the harvest moon fading
Of love and music and thy kiss….
Singed and withered
All that remains is the heat
And the taste of salt, sweat and the sea.
