Heart Of The Vagabond Sonnet - #39 Poem by Stephanie Eve Kane Arado

Heart Of The Vagabond Sonnet - #39

One day you’ll stay my renegade lover
When you are tired of one night romance
Around my neighborhood you will hover
I look forward to your artful word dance
Experienced reveler thinks he knows
The inside workings of a woman’s mind
Speeds up his delivery when passion grows
Leaving us sour like cut lemon rind
Nightly rendezvous exalt the senses
Never bothering about tomorrow
Likes the glitz and multicolored lenses
Charm them and satisfaction will follow
Staying in your frozen moment of time
Leads to empty living and loss of rhyme
