He Sits Alone Poem by Lee Gelis

He Sits Alone

He sits alone listening
To their conversations but
Does not pay any attention to
Their weak cries about
Each other. His mind
Haunts him about them,
Tormenting him that he will
Never be among them. They
Laugh, and make friendship but
He cannot seem to include himself.
His mind is too weak to
Listen to itself.
