He Can Still Poem by Gary James Smith

He Can Still

Rating: 5.0

He Can Still

He can still any storm
There's none too fierce for Him
And praise God even the hidden storms
The storms that live within
We may carry smiles around
That others can easily see
But oftimes there's a sadness found
That lives inside of thee

When your soul is anchored to
That Rock of Ages sure
Though storms of life may hit you hard
You'll rest in Him secure
For God always keeps His promises
And praise God He always will
His Words can calm the fiercest storm
When He says "Peace..be still"

I've known His very presence
In my own storms of life
When days were filled with chaos
And nights oftimes with strife
I've cast my anchor overboard
Into God's most restful sea
He takes hold with fastening power
Wrapping His arms of love around me

He can still any storm
There's none too fierce for Him
And praise God even the hidden storms
The storms that live within
We may carry smiles around
That others can easily see
But oftimes there's a sadness found
That lives inside of thee

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
