Hawks' Playground Poem by Buxton Shippy

Hawks' Playground

Bomb! Bomb! Bomb!
Is a game hawks play,
On the playground of death.
Call me a coward, if you must,
But I'll not kill a man,
Without cause.
Peace is what I believe in;
That is what I a defend.
So preach your head off,
And drop the pamphlets.
Still, this war is not about race,
But money, power, and space.
