He that has pity on the poor
Lends unto the Lord;
Who will repay to him again
It says so in God's Word.
For he that gives unto the poor
Shall not lack a mercy purse;
But he that hides his eyes from them
Shall earn him many a curse.

For whoever has this world's goods
And sees his brother in need,
But has no compassion on him
Walks, not in love but greed.

So remember to have pity
And give unto the poor
As Yeshua gave himself for you -
From heaven's treasure store.
