Hard is Life

Hard is life,
when you're living life
out on the street-hard is
life, when you're living life
out on the street,
Hard is life,
when you're living life
with not enough to eat-

Hard is life,
when you're so lonesome
and alone, Hard is life,
when you're so lonesome
and alone,
Hard is life, when you're
living the life of a
rolling stone-

Hard is life, when living
life has become a bore,
Hard is life, when living
life has become a bore,
Hard is life,
when you're looking
for strength, but you just
aint got no more!

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
