When i grow up
I want to become a farmer
I would acquire a land
And plant viable seeds on good soil
That's what i said when i was young
Now i'm a bit grown
And i've realized my dream
I've met many people from different walks of life
I happened to travel far and wide
And had many discourses in my life
I'm now a farmer but...
Like other farmers
I don't plant vegetables and root tubers
Nor do i grow cassava, tomatoes and maize
I'm neither an animal farmer
Yet as part of work, i graze
I live my everyday farming
Planting joy in the hearts of people
Ploughing and mowing out pain
Watering pleasant words
Words of goodness
Words that brightens one's life
Words of faith, words of hope
Words that help people to cope
Life is full of ups and downs
And as a farmer
The least i can do every day
Is to wipe away that crease, that frown
Happy Farmer's day to every farmer
I guess everyone is....! ! ! ? ? ? ! ! !
