When life gets too rough and beyond your control,
If you can feel the struggle deep down in your soul,
When the hardships become just too much to bare,
Just drop down to your knees and handle it with prayer.

When it seems like everything keeps crashing down,
Life is overwhelming and you feel like you’ll drown,
As it comes to a halt and you feel you’re going nowhere,
Just drop down to your knees and handle it with prayer.

Whenever it appears like you can’t go on anymore,
And it seems that there’s a lock on every new door,
If you ever have the feeling that life just isn’t fair,
Just drop down to your knees and handle it with prayer.

When nothing seems to be going your way,
And it is a struggle to make it through the day,
Always remember that there is someone there,
Just drop down to your knees and handle it with prayer.
