Gypsy Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Gypsy

Rating: 5.0

Gypsy dancer, flaming red,
titian curls about her head.
Swirling skirt and petticoats,
vagabond with fiddlers notes.

Hair of glory, glowing threads
of beauty that a fair one dreads.
Purple ribbons that maidens dote,
the envied style on which she gloats.

Dance forever, dance right on.
Wildly turn to fiddlers song.
She, in glory, knows the pace
and fills with radiance a sacred place.
