Open the door of heart
And welcome
Joy, Sorrow, Friendship and Meanness,
As a guest.
Welcome them all!
What if a crowd of sorrows!
Treat each guest as the first one;
Could be paving way for a new delight.
Welcome Shame and Malice,
Laughing and invite them in.
Each a guest - has to go;
To let in a new one!
