Grievance Poem by Rukesh Yadav

Grievance

Rating: 4.5

You're out,
I'm still in,
At the bottom of,
The well of love,
When one is out,
And another is in,
Every dainty word of love,
From the one in,
Sounds stupid and insipid,
To the one out,
Moreover the one in is laughed at,
And mocked,
By the one out,
I'm in,
Feeling crushed,
Someone extended his hand to you,
It was more beautiful than mine,
It was brighter than mine,
You chose to grab it,
You let him pull you out,
You're happier with him,
In different well,
Must be vibrant and radiant,
But where am I?
Have you ever thought of,
Taking a peek into mine?
Since you left,
The bottom of my well is,
Rushing down,
I've never seen darkness of this intensity,
It's growing,
The bottom is rushing down,
Can you hear my cry?
Can you hear my yell?
Probably you can't,
Even if you could,
It would sound,
Stupid to you.
