my eyes are green
not
because i
eat to much broccoli

my eyes are green
not
because i
stare to long
or lovingly
at forests or meadows
or
that kind of thing

no

my eyes are green
with the images
i
cant
see

stolen
sideways
glances

sneeky
sultry
seductions

tender
touches
meant
for
me

and anything else
the mind
behind these eyes
can think of
to see

until it
makes a
monster
of me

oh yes

my eyes are green
but
if i had my choice
they'd be
a lighter
color
indeed
