Gratitude Poem by MANDY CLARISSA

Gratitude

Every Morning
Like clockwork
You gracefully open my eyes
To a new sunrise

There is no moment
That I do not see you
Divinely displayed
Through the windows of my soul

Whether it's

A baby'scry
Swiftness and laughter in the wind
Sunshine
Glowing generously and indiscriminately

It's water and it's blissful glide
Healing each heart it touches

It's the smiles plastered across a 60 year old couple that has had to endure battles
That never leave their history
In books to read

It's the clouds and the rains
That often bring shelter
To thirst filled deserts

It's the kindness displayed to a stranger
With words unspoken by close family or friends

It's night time
With its signature of rest for 8hours

It's love that is unfiltered,
Unfettered
No holds barred

Loving shamelessly
Loving unceremoniously
Loving with no reason

Just loving
Just loving
Everyday
It's Gratitude
