Gone Poem by Dustin MacDougall

Gone

The fact that you’re gone is something I, can’t quite comprehend
I’m missing the feeling which I once had, because you were my friend
Is this the way it’ll turn out in the end?
But I’m hoping things turn around, soon enough
I can’t quite see, myself, moving on from you, just yet
I’m in a movie that has me to die off soon
And I can’t quite make a move
To see this through
And I’m asking you, what should I do?
To prove to you
That I’m worth move than the air I breathe
or maybe I should just leave it alone
and not say a word, and be exactly what you think I’m worth? ...
