~golden Night~
Such vividness can not subdue
Into a less evasive hue,
Its gleaming splendor weaves around
Each green of ivy dancing down.
Upon the tree and about town
A kiss of gold for all abounds.
Beaming above, warming within
Filling beyond and without end,
Tonight awaits as dreams unfold
Glitter the skies up high in gold.
The season shines in gilded tones
Guiding the star of Christmas home.
