God Shows Up Poem by Babajide Aina

God Shows Up

When dreams stay too long to come through
I have lost myself to my dream,
I lost the belief in my dreams
Every possiblity l have tried
The more l tried the distance it became
Everyone lost hope even me
Just a minute to retire, promises have failed
As every thing appeared to be a tale
I looked at every corner and asked what was left
The strength of man has failed in all manners of imagination and possibilities
Just when l want to drive home
He shows up
He put me on auto pilot
Fastest than the peregrine falcon
Cheetah has no chance
I can only glory in him
As is clear it is not my effort
Now no arrogance but glory.
