Glory Of Nature's Way Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Glory Of Nature's Way

On this beautiful autumn morning
Skies are a delicate blue;
Pale golden shrubs lend a backcloth
For the roses' deep crimson hue.

Amber and green blend together
And shine in the sunlight's glow
Oh, this is the morning of mornings
I remember from times long ago.

A poetic calmness surrounds me
As sweet songbirds greet a new day.
Trees stand tall, their branches bare
And shrivelled leaves flutter away.

I gaze at this picture so fondly,
Then I look towards heaven to pray,
Whispering gentle words of gratitude
For all the glory of nature's way.
