Glimmer Of Hope! Poem by Aarzoo Mehek

Glimmer Of Hope!

Rating: 5.0

Abandoning myself in the whirlpool of thoughts
Trying to de-tangle this quagmire of knots
As I try to drown in this ocean of tears
Trying to shed some of my regrets n fears
Searching for the trails of my lost identity
I face up to the lashes of the staunch reality
Groping and stumbling my way in the dark
I look n search for that inner spark
There seems no respite from all this chaos
So I raise my hands towards God in prayers
Extinguishing my inner anger with spirituality
I sum up my faith once again to face the reality.

There's light an the end of the tunnel.. Truly there is.. It is just it takes incredible ammount of courage, passion, and hard work to overcome the dark days of our lives.. A spiritual awakening can be indeed extremely helpful.. You have penned a very fine poem Arzoo.. Thank you for sharing.
