Giddiness Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

Giddiness

Rating: 5.0

When I am hungry, I feel giddy-
I take something quickly,
otherwise I will lose my sense and fall on the earth;
I may even die, I fear.
But think about those who
pass their days in starvation-
don't they feel giddy
or they don't have any head at all
or their heads are bound tightly
to their spinal cords with a rope of exploitation!
I never know...I am hungry now,
I will take something, otherwise...
