Ghosts/To You Poem by Luis Steven

Ghosts/To You

Rating: 5.0

I'm just a ghost to you

Another body left behind
Another one to pass the time
Another Sun to dim it's shine
Another toy to keep in line
But who's the 'lover' on your mind?

I'm just a ghost to you

Someone to tie your shoes
Someone for you to use
Someone to heed your blues
Some heart for you to bruise
But which 'friend' pays their dues?

I'm just a ghost to you

One more stranger from the past
Faces come and faces pass
Our reflections in the glass
Reminisce, one more laugh
But how many 'lives' are meant to last?

I'm just a ghost to you
