Get Over It! Poem by nobody special

so what if i lied to your face
even if i don't do all the things i used to
i still come home to you everyday
i told you i still love you
i can't give you something i don't feel
i don't know what the hell you want me to do
why can you just go back to when
you believed i was honest & true to you
i didn't do anything, nothing i would own up to
how long are the questions going to go on
i can hardly stand to be around you
don't make me go away
if you keep on i'll just find somewhere else to stay
i'll never realize
what puts questions in your mind
is how easily i lied
you should take my advice
if we're going to have a happy life
just shut up with the questions
& get the hell over it already
