I never ever thought id ever get better
Taking such serve down another path i wasnt prepared for
but i guess i just have to stand strong in this weather
See when i was young
id take everything like a story
but i grew up and i have to make my own ending
Making sure what i have is worth sharing and lending

i never want to walk that road again
i never want to be alone again
i can finally walk with my head held high again
im no where near where im meant to be
but im strong again

You see the the thing about life is
Theres more to it than you first thought
you either open your eyes and get clued up
or everything blows up
and you'll realise theres more to it than you first thought

Yeah i put my hand up
I know there are things i'll mess up
but for great things i'll stand up

trust me,
with every step you'll get better,
you'll hold your head high again,
through any kind of weather
you can only help yourself get there
but you'll be strong again
