Genuine Love Poem by John McCornack

Genuine Love

Genuine love arrives in so many subtle configurations
To some it maybe the simple bonding with a new born
To some it is those hours spend fishing in a farm pond
Still others just the simple dreaming about an unicorn

But for me, my Genuine Love has never been in doubt
It's the time I spend on red dirt roads in my retired life
Time spend enjoying an old barn or a sunrise or sunset
Time spend looking at some cows or some other wildlife
