Games Of Every Day Poem by David Pettus

Games Of Every Day

Every day I like to play a game
This game involves a mind and a brain
I tell myself a riddle from yesterday
To wake up and forget it today
I sit calmly in silence
To hear the noises of minds play
I close my eyes
To try and look through my eyelids
I talk with words not yet invented
So I play the role of a mime!
Just making body movements
To play charades with my mind
I think of thoughts not thought before
I shrink my ideas and hide them!
Then forget what my train of thought was looking for
I do random things in formal ways
I form random actions in different patterns through out the week
Just now all yesterday!
