Game Of Life Poem by Nilesh Tavarayan

Game Of Life

Rating: 3.3

I play my own game.

I wait for no person

I make the rules

I create my own conditions

Hypocrites, wish me luck, and I know they don't mean it.

I am not bothered because I don't want anyone's luck.

I create my luck with the help of Father above.

I create my destiny and I arrange the stars in the sky to favor me

the road is narrow, and a steep climb

Full of obstacles but it is worth climbing it.

Painful to travel the journey,

Sweat pours all over me.

Legs are numb, my arms are aching

I cannot explain the fatigue

I am thirsty but no water to drink,

Hungry but will bare the hunger.

The merciless sun rays pierces through my skin,

trying to rest for a while, but no shade to be found.

Many think it is impossible, But for me it is possible.

The jealous try to stop me, but I stop for no one

Daggers, guns, swords are all around me.

My enemies await my defeat, to take the revenge.

Clowns await to see me fall, to crack a joke out of it.

My body says give up, but my mind says,

Achieve my Target.

I cannot stop this game now.

Giving up will make me weak and cowardly.

winning is my only ambition, and then will be

the end of this precious game of life!
