Gabrielle Poem by Kaitlyn Sommerfield

Gabrielle

Closed is my soul
For you gave me pain,
You dropped me away

I am a rose in the rain.

I have sunk down, my vision discolored by trust.
I swore to the moon your eyes may not seek me again-
Thy are a blood stain in my dreams.

I am a rose in the rain.

Six feet deep is the incision,
My lust for you has seeped from my heart,
And slipped into Hell's silver cup.

I am a rose in the rain.

Dare I say thy name?
Damned from the blackest nights
Spent by midnights marble pools,
Where thy bathed the spirits weave?

I am a rose in the rain.

Black and withered from moonlights spray-
The wind whispers, Gabrielle.
A name Satan fears himself-
GABRIELLE!
Thy are the one that left me a rose in the rain!
Thy are the who put ashes in my tears!
Forsaken is the name Gabrielle.....
