Fusion Poem by Jeph S. Walker

Fusion

lay your head on my chest.
listen to the forever crashing sea
of my beating heart. HEAVEN.
the warmth of your cheek.
the smell of your hair.
the sweat that bonds us
as we lay in thin air.
i savour every second of constriction.
your legs and arms wrap me up.
place a stamp on my forhead
send me anywhere.
you lips melt in my own.
we melt into eachother.
the fusion is remarkable.
i die and yet am reborn
all at the same time.
weld this mark on the timeline.
permanent, forever, rememberd.
lay my head on your chest.
listen to the forever craching sea
of your heart.HEAVEN pacing.
hell racing.
trying to keep up
and not run out of breath
all at the same time.
failing, embarassed, disapointed.
lay your head on my chest.
listen to the forever crashing sea
of my beating heart.HEAVEN.
