Frustration Poem by Raven Black

Frustration

The line between them
indistinct
sweet flesh the instrument
plays upon one Spanish guitar
strumming cords to frenzied
music

Ardent desires devour
pains rewarded
then savored
twisting limbs merge
punished servants delivered
delirious in shame
unbridled
captives to passion
brutalized by loneliness

Euphoria descends
her midnight wings
folded about their agony
no relief she can bring
in distant miles
too far for flight

They will weep in longing
