There's a multitude of stars tonight,
I'm loving the moon,
So radiant and bright,
The air is crisp,
The night is cold,
Soon to sleep,
As my eyes close.
Dozing into slumber deep,
A soft and gentle dream unfolds.
You sit beneath an apple tree,
It's fruits are made of pure gold.
You pick an apple from it's branch,
And place it in my hand to hold.
"These apples are for you from me"
Your gentle voice,
It touched my heart,
"For every golden memory"
"We shared together from the start"
Sweet dream so special,
For you were there,
A sign that you watch over me,
I look up to the moon and stars,
I'll love you for eternity.
