From Here Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

From Here

From here
Unnoticeed
I send my dream of love to you
into emptiness
up likely in smoke
this moment
to you my heart spoke

You, whose hand
I now wish I was holding
whose warmth I wish to feel
No secrets between us
No more reason to hide
Just your smiling face
to make me feel alive inside
The softness of your cheek
against mine
and the feeling of our hearts
as they recline
and intertwine

You know if we spent this day
I'd never want you to leave
I've waited my whole life for you
Someone in whom I could trust and believe
I'd take you to a mountain I that's not to far away
We'd walk hand in hand and breath the fresh air
and the scenery below we'd survey
I'd warm you with a hug
and your soft lips I'd hope to kiss
enveloped in your care and held in your bliss
If I saw you smile broadly I'd feel so good inside
and you might see me too smile wide
and might also see a tear
of happiness roll down my cheek
I'd let you see me feeling
and I'd let you see me weak
because I've waited for you so long
hear your voice in every lovesong
and for the hope of you oneday I've tried
to be strong
but truly its been much to long

So if our tears of happiness might fall
I can only imagine it all
I'd bet we'd find some nice cozy diner
and have a hearty meal
and with our bodies cold
our hearts happy and healed
how nice that might feel
I'd reach across and hold your hand
and feel a glow inside
Your soft hand I'd likely hold
with such joy and pride

I'm killing myself here I think
it's just a Winter Friday morn
so cold and lonely without you to keep me warm
I guess I have to leave this dream now
to begin my day
but here I'd rather stay.

From here
Unnotieced
I send my dream of love to you
into emptiness
up likely in smoke
this moment
to you my heart spoke
