she did it for free
in the name of poetry

did she do it for her
to be remembered
in the annals of history?

no she didn't
she did it for free
all in the name of poetry

it's like sunshine and wind
and waves
it's like stars at night
and the moon
it's like butterflies and bees
and flowers

she says they're all beautiful
to see and all

for free. She does it now and
she will do it still

the past, and the future and
the present

not for a fee, not for fame or
glory

they're all free.
