Four Short Poems Poem by Soran M. H

Four Short Poems

Rating: 5.0

1
(the poet)
The readers
Leave the poet
Melting alone
To mould
A unique poem
2
(The reality and fantasy)
Life is continuing
In its Utopia
But the days are
Dying
Without ID
3
(Love)
Flowers know
How many days they will live
And the nightingale
as it sings knows
how many seasons
but we
cut the rose
to wear on the lapel of a tuxedo
and put the nightingale
in a cage
even though
they still make
us smile

4
(the news)
In the lovely village of Corripo
in the mountains of Switzerland
only twelve elders are living.
In the town of Novi Becej, Serbia
the zinc rate in the drinking water
has reached 27 times the legal limit.
In the Smithsonian zoo,
hundreds of people are
waiting for a baby panda
to be born.
Then you switch off the TV
and the first line of the
first book you pick up:
"this life is full of difficulties"...

These 4 poems show tremendous range of talent. I no more say " ah, this poem is the best" than I read the next poem and think wow-he went even deeper and more lyrical and on it goes and when I reach the last powerful and challenging poem, I have to acknowledge that this poet has range and power and talent to burn. 10+++++++ and onto my fav poem list and my fav poet list
