Forgive me Forever

The wage of sin is so heavy
That I cannot bear the burden.
God is not at all contended
On seeing the doings of by-gone days.
When I look at a mirror
To see my shattered visage
I shudder and appall
On seeing my ugly face.
My face bears the stamps
Of curse of whole human race.
When I go to the mosque
To repent and shed penitential tears,
I remember my cruel deeds
And I shiver at unknown fears.
When I go to sleep
In the very dead of cold night,
My fond memory brings my by-gone days
Before my tired inward-eyes.
My life seems a heavy burden,
Too heavy to move ahead.
I am in a cauldron of darkness
Swirling round in an infinite way.
O, heavenly light, give a ray of your beam
To alight my dark soul.
Forgive me forever and ever
Or I will remain steeped in sin as a whole.

Great job! Being remorseful is a great sign of repentance...

Good poem on restitution. When you know you've sinned and you confess so, you're always forgiven. Always search your inner self in a mosque or in a church.

Piuos poem! You go to a mosque! - i go to Christ church - and He forgives everything immideately after confession. I feel it. it doesnt mean that I forget the sin - no. it means that I feel light instead and start to hate sin and never want to repeat it again. That is true! God is very merciful! He paid by His blood for our sins!
