Forgive And Forget Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

Those who can forgive are great;
those who can forget are
at times generous, at times indifferent.
I can forgive
but how can I forget...
I may be great
but I am neither generous nor indifferent-
I am quite sentimental.
I can forgive, I may forget
but will you change your habit,
otherwise who will forgive my so-called greatness
or who will forget my utter weakness
or will I wait with patience (neither greatness nor weakness)
to observe an ever rectified guy!
