Forget It Poem by Austin Moore

Forget It

My only reason leaves me unsure
Whether I want to live for her
Tortured and drowned, don’t want to live
I wish I had something more to give
Myself just isn’t enough anymore
I won the battle but lost the war
You were my only ambitions, my dreams
But I lay here dying, alone still it seems
No child wants a broken toy
Why wasn’t I born to feel joy
I can’t chase you, can’t even stand
I feel like I’m falling, can’t wait to land
Am I the one that can’t understand
My heart was stone, now its just sand
